Product Availability & Pre-orders
Hello Youngster sells a mix of products that are available in our St Kilda store now, available from our suppliers or coming soon as new releases.
We use clear availability labels so you know what to expect before you order.
AVAILABLE NOW
AVAILABLE NOW means the product is physically in stock and available to purchase now.
Depending on the product and your location, you may be able to choose:
- Click & Collect from 11 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda
- free local delivery to eligible nearby postcodes
- fast courier delivery
- standard or express Australia-wide shipping.
Please wait until we confirm your order is ready before collecting it or arranging your own courier.
AVAILABLE TO ORDER
AVAILABLE TO ORDER means the product is available from one of our suppliers but is not currently physically held at Hello Youngster.
When you place your order, we order the product from the supplier for you.
Where possible, the product page or offer will tell you when we expect the item to arrive or be ready for collection or dispatch.
Supplier availability can change quickly. Occasionally a product shown as available to order may sell out at the supplier before we are able to secure it.
If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund the affected product.
PRE-ORDER – NEW RELEASE
PRE-ORDER – NEW RELEASE means the product is an upcoming release that is not yet available for immediate supply.
The expected release or arrival date will be shown where available.
Release dates are generally provided by manufacturers, distributors or suppliers and can change.
If a release is delayed, we will update you when we become aware of a material change.
If a pre-ordered product becomes unavailable and we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund the affected product.
SOLD OUT
SOLD OUT means the product cannot currently be purchased.
A product may become available again later, so you are welcome to contact us if you would like to know whether we expect more stock.
When will my order be ready?
Timing depends on the availability status of the products in your order.
AVAILABLE NOW products can generally be prepared quickly during store operating hours.
AVAILABLE TO ORDER products need to arrive from our supplier before they can be collected or dispatched.
PRE-ORDER – NEW RELEASE products will be fulfilled after the product is released and stock reaches us.
Where we are running a supplier-access offer with a specific order deadline and expected customer-ready date, those dates will be shown with the offer.
Orders containing different availability types
If your order contains a combination of AVAILABLE NOW, AVAILABLE TO ORDER or PRE-ORDER products, we will generally prepare or dispatch the order once all products are available.
If you need an AVAILABLE NOW item sooner, contact us and we can see whether the order can be split. Additional delivery charges may apply.
Fast courier and Click & Collect
Fast courier delivery is only available once products are physically at our Fitzroy Street store.
Similarly, an AVAILABLE TO ORDER or PRE-ORDER product is not ready for Click & Collect until we have received it and notified you.
Supplier availability and delays
We work with a range of Australian suppliers and distributors.
Supplier stock information, allocations, release dates and freight timing can sometimes change without notice.
If there is a material delay or availability problem affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable.
Changing or cancelling an order
If you need to change or cancel an AVAILABLE TO ORDER or PRE-ORDER purchase, contact us as soon as possible at shop@helloyoungster.com.au.
Whether we can cancel or change an order may depend on whether the supplier order has already been placed or committed.
