Second Play Toys is a Hello Youngster initiative that helps families pass toys on when their children are finished with them – and helps other families buy good toys in good condition at a lower price.
Some toys are finished being used. That doesn’t mean they’re finished being useful.
For families clearing things out
Kids grow. Interests change. Cupboards fill up.
Second Play Toys gives families a simple way to move toys on responsibly – without listing them online, meeting strangers or managing messages.
You bring the toys in. We decide if they’re right for resale. We sell them in store. You receive 60% when they sell.
It also creates a clear learning moment for kids:

how to value what we own
how items can have more than one life.
Not everything is right for resale. We keep this tight and intentional. Toys can be brought in for assessment 10.30am to 4.30pm seven days per week.
UPDATE: A few families have suggested they don't want any money for the toys they're bringing in. So, we will also provide you with the option to donate your portion of the sale to a local charity - you can let us know if you have a preferred organisation.
For families buying
Second Play Toys also makes it easier to buy toys in good condition at a lower price.
These are not clearance leftovers or junk. They’re toys that have simply been outgrown or unused – and still have plenty of play left in them.

We accept toys that are clean, complete and still appealing

This is not a free-for-all resale rack. It’s part of how Hello Youngster thinks about toys, value and use.
Preparation
Required: Select and clean toys that are in good condition, no need to have the box but workable parts are needed and instructions are helpful.
